Oh my goodness, my sincerest apologies for my short hiatus! Life has just gotten super busy! Summer is in full swing and we’ve had our plate full. Our darling niece made her arrival last Thursday. She is absolutely perfect and we are all just so in love! I can’t even believe that the 4th is this weekend! June just flew by. I promise more regular posting and outfit posts coming soon. As well as a giveaway. I have been “blogging” from Instagram when I don’t get a chance to sit down and write a formal blog post so be sure to follow me there!

There are a ton of awesome summer sales going on right now. This dress and my wedges are both on sale! I love the color and fun shift like fit of this dress. Perfectly breezy for a summer day or evening. The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is coming up and although summer is still in effect it is getting me excited for some cute fall clothes! Fall is definitely my favorite season for fashion!

I don’t know what it is about this vest but I am in love. It must be the fit, because it’s nothing you haven’t seen before! I think the price is decent compared to a lot of other ones I was looking at. I love how it cinches in at the waist to give you a bit of a shape. It does run big though, I’m wearing a size small. It is always out of stock so if you ever come across it in your size, snap it up before it’s gone! It’s been pretty chilly this week so it’s acted as my jacket. I have worn it the past 3 days in a row, no joke. I keep finding things to wear it with, I think next I’ll pair it with a striped dress! These wedges are from my spring wedges post way back in March. I had ordered them then but they finally just came in off backorder & they are just as fabulous as I thought they would be! I love the high ankle and perforations. Sometimes my style can be very military-esque? A lot of neutral colors, more bold and non feminine patterns, monochrome. It’s such a different take to my normal girly girl attire but I have come to LOVE switching it up.

A kimono is an easy breezy way to dress up any outfit. I love them over a tee and jeans, or shorts, or a dress! This one is so me, with the pale pink, floral pattern, and tiny pom pom trim. It’s under $18, which is a steal! Could be a cute swim suit coverup as well! These grey wedges are so good. It’s almost impossible to find a grey wedge. A lot of the reviews for these said they run really tiny which I do agree they run small. I’m normally a 8.5 in wedges and ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfect. So definitely size up! I thought they would be uncomfortable but are actually one of my comfiest pairs! Gotta love the little platform. They will be on serious repeat this summer as grey goes with so much!

I’m loving fun vibrant colors and patterns for summer. Especially in the trendy aztec prints. They bring so much life and fun to any outfit! I’m also obsessed with this straw tote for summer. The coral trim is the perfect addition to any outfit and it can be used as a purse or a beach bag! It’s also lined in the most adorable pineapple print. Which is the same as this beauty bag, that I also have and LOVE!

Hope everyone had a fun cinco de mayo yesterday and enjoyed a margarita or 2! I made tacos and this DELICIOUS and addicting treat!

This is one of those outfits that consists of staple closet pieces. A striped dress, jacket, and nude flats. All of which I’m sure every girl already has in her closet. I talked about these flats in a different blog post but just have to mention them again. They are Valentino look a likes, SO cheap but SO cute! Right now it’s buy one get one for $5! I have them in this nude color & black. Love them both! This is such an easy, casual look, but looks put together.

This purple top is great! So breezy and comfy. I also love the color, I didn’t have anything like it! Oh and not to mention it’s currently on sale for $21! These jeans get so much weekend wear. They’re super comfy and casual with all the distressing. If you haven’t noticed these are probably my favorite sunglasses! I love the bohemian mixed with aviator vibe they give and they’re only $29.

Today we’re heading to the Milwaukee Zoo with my sister and her 2 kids. Should be a really fun day all around!! Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend and is having a great start to your week!

How cute is this little floral dress? It also comes in black but I love the muted colors and the fun flowy hem. And of course because it has sleeves! I think it can totally work for fall too with tights and boots. It’s a flattering shift dress. Usually shift dresses look horrible on me! I’m wearing the size small and I’m actually debating exchanging for the x-small. This brand runs super big, believe me normally I am NOT an x-small, lol.

During the week you will mostly catch me in an outfit much like this one, which is why it’s dubbed my “momiform”. Although even if I wasn’t a mom I would totally wear it! My favorite comfy ripped denim, and the softest tee ever. I know I have sung this tee’s praises many times (I do have it in all 3 colors, whoops) before but it is so good. I love the “shark bite” hem and how flowy yet flattering it is.

These espadrilles have already gotten so much wear this season and it’s not even May! They look just like the Tory Burch ones and are similar to the Chanel version. AND they’re crazy comfortable, amazing find for $25! And of course I finished the look with some of my favorite Stella & Dot pieces of the moment! The Zuni is perfect for summer and I can not stop wearing it!

If you don’t follow me on IG you probably missed these adorable Valentino look a likes I scored. They are way better quality than I ever expected for the price and the first night I wore them I had someone ask me about them thinking they were real! I also got them in black! Seriously LOVE!

I love this easy breezy summery beach look. I swear I have already worn this kimono 10 times. It goes with so much and is the perfect boho light layer to toss on over a tee and shorts or a dress!
